Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
If you enter a name or date of birth in a search tool displayed here, the information is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any results. Hart County Warrant Records does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we may keep the message long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers may automatically receive basic technical details whenever a page loads:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies, which are small files saved on a device, help show how visitors move through the site, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers may combine that traffic into summary reports. You can block cookies through your browser, although doing so may change how parts of the site function.
What We Do With This Data
- Directing search requests to the appropriate partner service
- Maintaining site availability, speed, and performance
- Finding and correcting technical problems
- Understanding which pages are useful and which need attention
- Displaying advertising that may reflect your interests
No Warrant Data on File
Hart County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant information. It provides general directions to the Hart County Sheriff's Office and the courts that issue warrants, including the Superior Court of the Northern Judicial Circuit, Hart County Magistrate Court, Hart County Probate Court, and local municipal courts. Georgia has no single public statewide warrant database. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power search boxes shown on this website. Information submitted through a tool is handled under that provider's privacy policy, rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention and sharing practices, so review the applicable policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Hart County Sheriff's Office, court resources, Georgia government pages, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not control that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be received by:
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and site performance
- Search partners that process queries submitted through their tools
- Advertising networks that place ads on these pages
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when disclosure is compelled by a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use customary safeguards for information collected through the site. No internet-connected service is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied personal data, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Rights concerning information held by this private website depend on the law that applies where you live. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 et seq., governs access to qualifying records held by Georgia public agencies, such as records maintained by the Hart County Sheriff's Office or a public court custodian. It does not turn this private site into a government records custodian. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request deletion of personal data we hold
- Ask for access to information maintained about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Object to certain forms of processing where the law provides that choice
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised from time to time. Any revision will be posted on this page and identified by a new effective date.
